Improve Your Posture

This relatively simple (yes I haven't tried it) stretch was, apparently, the work of a French osteopath It combats the tendency to address the ball with a curved, as opposed to straight, spine. This typically happens due to our slouching over desks, driving cars etc. It stretches the back as you reach for the sky and push your knees down. This is one of the few videos featured on HelpingWithGolf.com that does not show any golf club and it includes a relatively simple (yes I haven't tried it) stretch that was, apparently, the work of a French osteopath.

The stretch combats the tendency to address the ball with a curved, as opposed to straight, spine. This curved spine typically happens due to our slouching over desks, driving cars etc. It stretches the back as you reach for the sky and push your knees down.

Ben Shear tells us that this stretch promotes elongation which leads to more rotation or, in other words, fixing your posture will give your golf swing a better turn.
