Dr. Cohn explains to us the 4 top villains that can destroy our self-confidence on the golf course. These are 1) Perfectionism - a golfer who can hit it perfectly on the controlled environment that is the golf range, expects the same on the uncontrolled environment that is the golf course. This does not happen and he then questions his ability. 2) High Expectations - often related to 1) above and they place demands on yourself that can lead to frustration and to the thought that you are not playing well. 3) Self-Doubt is the opposite of confidence where you question your ability. 4)Assessing Negatively - a natural instinct to be critical but you must think also about all the good things you did as that will carry over onto your next round.
